To address historic leaks, as well as to address the general poor condition of the roof.

Pre-contract:

Our clients brief consisted of providing a solution to address the poor condition of the roof which has historically leaked. Our client’s business is a 7 day a week trade counter type business which provided a number of limitations and factors which influenced our proposed remedial solution.

AMC compared both repair and replacement solutions and compared their associated costs. From this assessment AMC were instructed to proceed with a specialist clean, repair and application of a liquid applied solution.

Construction Phase:

AMC administered and oversaw the building contract through to practical completion, working closely with the Contractor and Client to ensure not only was the construction programme maintained, but to ensure no disruption to the current business was caused.

Result:

Through careful consideration and specification of an alternative repair system, we were able to provide a 15-year guaranteed solution which addressed historic issues without disrupting our client’s business.
