Objective:

Inspect and review defective new-build works throughout the premises.

 

Outcome:

AMC’s appointment was made following extensive issues experienced by our client following moving into their new build home built by a national house building developer.

Our inspection included review of all elements externally and internally, reviewing the proposed drawings whilst inspecting the quality of workmanship implemented throughout the works.

Our inspection identified a number of significant failings in the building work undertaken. From our report and our assistance through negotiation, our client was able get the developer to return and undertake approximately £25,000 worth of remedial works, including dismantling and rebuilding of the external perimeter brickwork wall and correction of damp-proof course bridging.
