Objective:

Inspect, and report on necessary roof leak related remedial works.

 

Outcome:

Following an extensive roof leak within a multi-occupied building, AMC were instructed by the loss adjuster on behalf of the insurer, to inspect and assess the extent of the damage, as well as identify what works as were needed to rectify the damage.

It was also essential to identify whether the cause of the damage was through on single event for insurance purposes to ensure an invalid claim was not made.

Our inspection established extensive damage and remedial works being needed, externally and internally.

By using our report, the loss adjuster was able to settle the claim as there was enough evidence to show that the damage had not occurred through a single, insured event.
