Objective:

Inspect, report on sudden cracking, and outline remedial works.

 

Outcome:

Following a reports of major cracks appearing within two adjoining, semi-detached properties, AMC were instructed by the loss adjuster on behalf of the insurer, to inspect and assess the extent of the damage, as well as identify what works were needed to rectify the cracking.

Our inspection established extensive damage and remedial works being needed, externally, internally to both properties.

AMC produced a detailed report outlining the causes of the cracking and the necessary remedial works required to rectify the damage.

By using our report, the loss adjuster and the building owner were then able to conclude and agree a settlement to cover the costs or reinstatement works.
