Objective:

Inspect, report on sudden cracking, and outline remedial works.

 

Outcome:

Following a sudden extensive crack appearing within a school building, AMC were instructed by the loss adjuster on behalf of the insurer, to inspect and assess the extent of the damage, as well as what risk it posed to the occupiers of the building.

Our inspection established extensive damage caused by storm winds and adverse weather, which required remedial works both internally and externally.

AMC produced a detailed report outlining remedial works required to rectify the damage.

By using our report, the loss adjuster and the building owner were then able to conclude and agree a settlement to cover the costs of reinstatement works.
