AMC Graduate Surveyor Scheme:
Understanding the importance of training and experience early on in a Building Surveyors career, AMC offer successful Building Surveying graduates an opportunity to join our team.
Our structured in-house experience focussed training and personal structured self-learning programmes, ensure graduates the best learning experience, progress through the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) process, which in turn provides the best opportunity for our graduates to become a Chartered Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (R.I.C.S.) in the shortest possible timeframe.

I am delighted to have recently passed my APC on the Building Surveying Pathway with AMC. The support provided throughout the process was invaluable in developing the skills, experience, and confidence necessary to be successful.
The structured training provided throughout my time with AMC included bi-weekly APC workshop sessions, where I was able to present on the various job types we provide services for, as well as my case study. After Joining AMC in September 2022, I was made to feel welcome and part of the team from the start. I got straight into the APC process and with the support of my team created a structured plan of action to help me work towards achieving my Chartership.
Thanks to the varied range of inspections and instructions carried out at AMC, it was perfect in helping me gain the necessary experience required to meet my competencies and identify the ideal case study project for my submission.
I achieved my Chartership in May 2025 through a lot of hard work and with the help of regular internal revision sessions and APC review workshops.

I joined AMC in August of 2019 and hit the ground running within the first couple of months with the a structured training programme created. I have been given many opportunities whilst working at AMC and this allowed me to choose the best case study project for my APC submission.
The process was tough, but with regular presentation practice sessions and review of my submission documents I achieved my Chartership in July of 2022.
